The Aikyashree Scholarship is a state-funded financial assistance scheme for students from minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, and Parsee) in West Bengal. It aims to reduce dropout rates, promote higher education, and ensure equitable opportunities.

It is a financial aid scheme by the West Bengal Minorities’ Development & Finance Corporation (WBMDFC) for minority students. It supports students from Class 1 up to PhD across different scholarship types (pre-matric, post-matric, merit-cum-means etc.).
Renewal requires passing the previous exam and satisfying eligibility again (marks, income etc.). If you change course/institute, depending on scheme you might need fresh application or institution verification.
Use the official portal (WBMDFC / Aikyashree site). Enter Application ID, Date of Birth, District etc. in “Track Application / Application Status” section.
You won’t be able to apply or renew for that academic session. Must wait for next cycle.
After verification (online + institution verification), the approved scholarship amount is directly transferred to your bank account via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). Timing varies.

Renewal: Log in with previous credentials, update marks, bank or other changed info, submit again.
